I am a registered nurse with over 10 years of experience working with patients with chronic kidney disease. I performed dialysis in the clinic, hospital, and nursing home. I have a Master’s degree in clinical leadership in nursing. My favorite part of nursing is empowering my patients with information and education for them to take control of their lives. I am starting this website to reach even more people!
Besides my health background, I have benefitted from a wealth of experiences. I have lived in poverty and middle class. I have been a volunteer park ranger, special education aide, a mother, and a foreign exchange student which give me a wide range of experiences.
My goal is not to only talk about kidney disease, but also other conditions that are common. I want to help people navigate the health care system, take care of themselves, and connect the dots that may be missing some gaps. Please check in often for new posts that pop up.
