Why You Should Always Verify AI Information Sources

In this age of technology, information is abundant. It’s easy to search and take the first thing you see as truth. In the age of AI (artificial intelligence), it’s best to be skeptical. AI only reflects info that it scrapes off of other websites and is often unreliable.

Scroll to the bottom of AI responses to check the sources. Go there for the original content that was scraped.

Always double or TRIPLE check! The first source may be WRONG! Find two or three other sources that agree with the answer you are trying to find.

Sources could be other websites, your doctor, or even physical books. When you research, you are looking for understanding of your question. Try to learn the WHY something is happening, which will guide how you will manage it.

Websites that are selling something are generally not reliable, since they have something to gain.

Websites for education are more reliable, such as those belonging to universities.

Being skeptical will help you navigate the growing complexity of information and propaganda.
